I’m very interested in pursuing fashion marketing as a career (I love ideas for shoots and advertising) but I don’t devote nearly as much of my personal life to fashion. Sure if my nails are too long I’ll somwhat botchedly clip them or if my skin get’s too dry I’ll buy some vaseline but in general I don’t really care too much about devoting tons of money and time to getting the perfect look or whatever.
I’d rather spend money on video games. comics and a new electric keyboard than making myself look plastic. Does this make me ill-fitted for such a superficial world or does it not really matter?
If you’re good at what you’re doing, it shouldn’t matter. People are gonna see what you make, not you. But, sadly, it could affect you some. It never hurts to try, right?
